THE PLANET SATURN- OUR SECOND GIANT IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and the second largest planet in the solar system. Saturn was the Roman name for Cronus, the lord of the Titans in Greek mythology. Saturn is the root of the English word "Saturday." Saturn is the farthest planet from Earth visible to the naked human eye, but it is through a telescope that the planet's most outstanding features can be seen: Saturn's rings.   Physical characteristics of Saturn Saturn is a gas giant made up mostly of hydrogen and helium .  Saturn is big enough to hold more than 760 Earths, and is more massive than any other planet except Jupiter, roughly 95 times Earth's mass. What is Chess? Chess  is game played between two players.It is played by two colours i.e white and black.The word 'Chess' came from the ancient game of India called Chaturanga. This game was played by the Early kings and Scholars.  From India, this game travelled to Persia (now Iran). From Persia, this game travelled  to Europe. There, people called this game as Chess. The Europeans made some rules to this game that;- this game should be played between two people only. Each player has 16 pieces.From Europe, this game spread to all over the World.  How is it played? In chess,the two players who are playing together have 16 pieces in start of game.
